So yes, this was all my idea—and that being the case, I wanted to see what I had gotten myself into. Revitalash surprised me with the great results that people were saying they had with it.
Well, with high hopes, I started using Revitalash Eyelash Conditioner once a day as suggested. I cannot tell you how much it burned when I put it on. The website said some people had experienced irritation initially, so I continued to use it to see if it would die down. It continued to be very uncomfortable, so I would have to skip a day here and there to give my eyes a break. But I was a trooper—and used it all the way through the 10 weeks.
The good news is that I did notice a difference in my lashes. I felt like they were longer, but they seemed very weak still. If I rubbed them at all, several would fall out. It may have been my “natural loss” but it seemed like more lashes than that, and it was that way whenever I rubbed them or took make-up off at night.
I would say for length, yes, you will get that, but if they end up falling out, you aren’t getting to keep them after all. Overall, for the price and the irritation I experienced, I was not a big fan of Revitalash. Even with longer lashes, it seemed like the negatives out weighed the positives on this one.
PS. I was looking at my review when Steve (my husband) first put it up and something just kinda jumped out at me. I usually just look at the price of something when I buy it and not necessarily how much I am actually getting--especially when it comes to cosmetics. I guess after seeing everything online, I noticed how little product I was getting for the price! What a bummer!
I was using eyelash extensions to get long, sexy eyelashes—bad idea! I finally realized that the more I used them, the worse my lashes were looking. And it took forever for them to grow out.
I was super excited to help Lisa and everyone else out with this eyelash product review.
Revitalash Eyelash Conditioner looked like a cool little treatment to test out so I was pumped when I got mine in. I used it for like two months straight. You have no idea how hard it was for me to remember every day! But it totally paid off!
Where they were short and broken, my lashes were filling in and growing in longer than the ones I had before. I didn’t really experience as much of the excessive fallout that Lisa mentioned—but I did have a lot of stinging and burning when I first applied it.
And at $150 I gotta admit, I was expecting no problems and really quick results. Don’t get me wrong, my lashes were definitely growing in longer and looking more voluminous, but for such a small amount of product and the time it took, I think some of these other products might be a better value.
