Hi everyone! I have been into the whole lash conditioning product craze for more than 2 years. Of everything I've used until now my favorite has remained Lilash. With all the buzz about Latisse I couldn't wait for it to come out to see if it lived up to it's reputation. I read tons of Latisse reviews and heard good stuff. Ok, so I've been to my doctor twice already and am almost finished with my second bottle of Latisse. I actually started to notice them changing by the third week. Now they are really starting to get much longer and thicker even darker. To be fair the product insert recommended up to 16 weeks for full results but I have been really impressed with how my eyelashes have responded already. Since Latisse is made by the same company that makes Botox I wasn't expecting to be disappointed and I certainly wasn't. This is a great product.
If I have any negatives to report with Latisse they have more to do with the process than the product itself since I am loving my eyelashes right now. I did experience some minor irritation to my eyelid but mostly from the somewhat inconvenient disposable applicator which is a bit too rough for me. I'm being picky here. My biggest issues really have to do with the repeat doctors visits and the cost factor. Latisse is definitely more expensive then similar products. At $120 a month for Latisse you can do the math on a 4 month supply. Making time to get this stuff from the doctors every month was inconvenient.
So now I've used both Lilash and Latisse. Both gave me great eyelashes without any real significant irritation. Actually my lashes responded pretty similarly to both. Doctor visits and applicator aside the cost of Latisse is the only thing that makes me want to give Lilash the edge especially the way things are now. Of course, you can decide for yourself.

I'm excited I got to be part of the review group this time. I missed the last round of reviews, so I said the next product they find was going to be mine! And let me tell you how glad I was to save my place in line for my first "official" Latisse review. After close to two months I could not believe the lashes I have! People who haven't seen me since Christmas noticed immediately! They swear these can't be my real lashes but they are! Latisse really works. I have been feeling so much happier with my eye makeup now that my mascara is doing what I want it to do! My eyes are really popping with my new eyelashes. My results required patience as in many weeks but it was worth it.
I've learned that Latisse is the first FDA approved drug to grow your eyelashes. Truth be told, I do wish I didn't feel like I was using a drug. When I read in the packaging "for the treatment of hypotrichosis of eyelashes" I feel like my eyelashes must be "sick". There was a long list of possible side effects some of which were very scary and some I didn't understand. I don't think I've had any problems and it doesn't bother my eyes. Like any true product junkie I am willing to look past certain inconveniences(like the price) to be beautiful but I do want it to be safe too. Latisse is definitely expensive but as long as it works and I don't have problems I'm going to stick with it. That completes my Latisse review thanks for reading and I hope it helps.
