Jan Marini definitely knows what she is doing. I used some of her other skin care products before and they were great. Just like other products from Jan Marini, this one really does work!
Now, it did totally sting when I applied it to my upper lid. I was not a happy camper about that one! Usually her stuff is really well done without any side effects. That was a little disappointing.
BUT—I did see an improvement in my lashes in just 2 months. They were getting longer! I also saw more fullness than I had before I can definitely say that this product worked for me!
***NOTE*** for sensitive eyes: Jan Marini eyelash intervention is quite irritating. Mine are ok right now even with the irritation, so I am going to keep using this for another month or so and see how much more they will grow!

When Lisa asked me to help her try some eyelash conditioning products I was curious about this one. I saw it in my salon every month when I went to get my hair done, but with the price tag of $160, I just wasn't sure that a little bitty tube of "magic juice" would really be worth it. Lisa's experiment finally gave me the excuse I needed to check Jan Marini eyelash conditioner out.
It was easy to use, I just applied the Jan Marini eyelash intervention like a liquid eyeliner, but it was very irritating. I ended up having to skip several days to give my eyes a break from it. I got online to see what was causing the irritation, but I am no chemical engineer J and I really couldn’t figure anything out. But, when I was online I saw that there were some others who had experienced the irritation, too.
When I was looking around at the message boards I also saw that this product had been taken off the market for a while. I didn’t really get the full story, but I did see that when it came back, there was a different active ingredient. I wonder what the difference in the two would be?
As far as results go, I did have to skip some days due to the irritation. So I think my results have been slightly delayed. After two months, I can tell a difference. My lashes definitely seem thicker and a little longer, although it doesn’t look over-the-top lash tangling length like some people have gotten with this product. The message boards were very positive and pretty much all said you have to wait at least 2-3 months for real results.
I wouldn't say this is a lifesaver, but I have seen some results. If you are willing to put up $160 for a little tube of "conditioner" for your lashes, it does seem like they are really looking healthy and thick. Maybe three months is the kicker? I'll keep you posted.
